The Bromsgrove Summer School will once again be held in July 2017 at Bromsgrove School. It offers six courses over three days - 11-13 July - celebrating the rich agricultural, industrial, architectural and cultural history of Bromsgrove and district.

This year's topics are:

  • Churches of Bromsgrove District
  • A.E. Housman - Man of Letters
  • Belbroughton's Millers, Manufacturers & Scythemakers
  • Worcestershire Mapmakers and the coming of the Ordnance Survey
  • Bromsgrove's Great Houses
  • Bromsgrove on the Eve of War: Our Town & District in 1939
